We welcome you to the the North of Italy, in the pre-alpine area, where you will learn the language of the country whose food we are obsessed with, not only through classes but through cultural experiences as well. We provide the best teachers and a coliving space where you can work and study. You will have time, space and the best working conditions.

A workation is exactly how it sounds — working while on vacation (work + vacation = workation). It is also called a 'workoliday' or 'woliday'.
It's a combination of business and leisure: sending emails and hitting targets in the middle of the mountains, while stunning hikes and other activities can make you feel rejuvenated.

By Plane
The closest airport to Montino is Milan's Malpensa Airport (MXP) - less than a 1.5-hour drive. Milan Bergamo (BGY) is also not far, around a 2 hour drive from us. There are plenty of car rental companies in both airports.
We offer free transportation from the town of Verbania or Intra which are 25 minutes drive from Montino. Contact us before your arrival date to coordinate.
Using Public transportation:
There is a bus (Linea 4) that arrives at the gate of Montino and leaves 5-6 times a day from near Dali Restaurant in Intra. You can download the bus timetable here
To get to Intra from Malpensa:
Option 1 - Use the Alibus shuttle service
(book online or contact Tel. +39323-552172 alibus@safduemila.com)
Option 2 - Take the MXP line to Milano Centrale and change to the train to Verbania.
To get to Intra from Milano:
Use the train from Milano Centrale to Verbania Pallanza
* Please note that until mid-September there will be construction on the line between Arona and Verbania, a replacement bus will take you from Arona station to Verbania-Pallanza.

We celebrate community cooking. That means, that we cook together and eat together. Included in the program, there are group dinners every night from Monday to Friday.
During the day, the kitchen is available for you to use as you please. Just remember to keep the space clean.
If you want to do your groceries, there are quite a few supermarkets around. Esselunga, the largest one in town, has an option for online shopping as well. We offer our guests delivery service from the supermarket twice a week.
There are also plenty of restaurants in the region for you to try out the local cuisine. There is even a vineyard nearby that we can visit on weekends!

Oggebbio is a charming city in Northern Italy, surrounded by mountains and pre-alpine scenery that makes it an ideal destination for those who are passionate about nature and love hiking. There are several hiking trails to choose from. Just a quick drive from us there is the popular Val Grande National Park, famous for its untouched landscapes of the High Alps. The park is entirely unpopulated, making it the largest wilderness area in the Alps. Lake Maggiore, another popular spot, is also not too far from us.
Excursions are included on the Intensive learning package. They are all about discovering the cultural diversity of the region. This can include visiting a vineyard for some wine tasting, going to one of the nearby cities such as Stresa or even the Borromean Islands, or even popping up to one of the many beaches around Lake Maggiore.
