A workation is exactly how it sounds — working while on vacation (work + vacation = workation). It is also called a 'workoliday' or 'woliday'.
It's a combination of business and leisure: sending emails and hitting targets in the middle of the mountains, while stunning hikes and other activities can make you feel rejuvenated.

The easiest way to reach our coliving space via Switzerland is via Geneva airport. From Geneva airport, take the train to Martigny (1:40h). There, take a mountain train to Sembrancher (16 minutes) and switch to another mountain train to Orsières (9 minutes). In Orsières you take a bus till Bourg-Saint-Pierre (25 minutes). You can buy all your tickets on the SBB/CFF (the Swiss rail company).
Another possibility is to fly to Italy (Milan, Bergamo, Torino) and take a bus to Aosta. From Monday to Friday you can take a bus at 16h15 directly to Bourg-St-Pierre (1:05h). Beware that this bus is only available once a day and only during weekdays.

We celebrate community cooking. That means, that we cook together and eat together. Included in the program, there are group dinners every night from Monday to Friday.
During the day, the kitchen is available for you to use as you please. Just remember to keep the space clean.
Need to buy groceries? There are two small shops in the village and two mini markets in the next village (Liddes). Bigger supermarkets can be found in Sembrancher (38 minutes via bus and train).
But if you're hungry and don't have time to cook, there are three restaurants in the village, and two more in the next village (Liddes). There will be plenty of opportunities to discover local cuisine!

Bourg-Saint-Pierre is a charming village in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery that makes it an ideal destination for those who are passionate about nature and love hiking.
There are several hiking trails to choose from, including the popular Col du Grand-Saint-Bernard trail, the Tour du Combin trail, the challenging Mont Rogneux trail, and the Mont Chemin trail that takes you through beautiful forests and alpine meadows. Other beautiful places to visit around the region are the Gorges du Durnand, the scenic Champex-Lac, Lac Souterrain de Saint-Léonard etc.
